Alberto is an experienced business executive with over 35 years of experience. He has held CEO, COO and CFO roles both at large public-listed companies (SGP-Merck and Sherwin-Williams) and at mid-sized companies, such as Geneva Watch, D+M Sound, Aquaro Histology and QAMF.

After completing his degree in Business Economics at Bocconi University in Milan in 1985, Alberto began to build his career up to Finance Director for the Italian subsidiary of a Swedish multinational paper and packaging company. In 2000, he moved to the USA as the Vice President (VP) of Finance Healthcare for SGP, and in 2007 he was appointed VP of Finance and Global Finishes for Sherwin-Williams. He managed a $3B group and led teams that acquired more than 20 companies. Starting in 2013, Alberto moved into managing private companies. Alberto has demonstrated his ability to build many diverse and high performing teams. From a general manager’s perspective, Alberto has kept his companies’ customer focused but never neglecting back-office efficiency, cost effectiveness and strong cash-flow generation.

“Helping scale businesses is my passion. Shortly after I met Marco, I become passionate about his projects to change the manufacturing world with an innovative approach. We are at a historical junction where supply chains are not only crucial to businesses but can revolutionize business practices (fast-evolving from Manufacturing 4.0 to 5.0). The opportunity to build a fast-growing business, internationalize an Italian company and creating a strong, diverse and motivated Team is great and incredibly motivating.”
