PLA is a thermoplastic polymer derived from corn, a biodegradable eco-material. It is very resistant and stable and does not exhibit retraction and deformation. PLA is the most used material in the world of 3D printing and is present in a wide range of colors.
MK PRODUCTION is a material tested for a long time and finally chosen by Mark One to succeed in realizing parts with an excellent mechanical resistance and impact. It can be worked for post production, then sanding and painting. It can be used in place of the ABS. MK PRODUCTION is odorless and also used in the food industry and is suitable for post-production processing.
Thermoplastic polyurethanes and thermoplastic elastomers are provided. These elastic polymers are durable, have a high shape memory that allows, after a mechanical stress, to return to its original shape. They have resistance to oils, greases and hydrocarbons. By means of shore parameters they make it elasticity and resistance to abrasion.
MK CARBON is a high quality material that combines the resistance to corrosion and high temperatures of the thermoplastic binder with the mechanical properties of carbon fiber. The filament thus obtained makes it possible to realize objects with mechanical properties up to two times higher than ABS, without increasing their fragility.
MK SOLUBILE applied to the FDM technology is widely used thanks to its solubility and therefore as a support material. For special technical applications, the thermal and mechanical resistance properties can be exploited of the MK SOLUBILE.
ABS is a thermoplastic polymer derived from petroleum, used industrially to produce light and resistant objects. Structurally soft and easily deformable. For a correct extrusion it must be extruded at a higher temperature than PLA and to reduce deformations the plate must be heated above 85 °C, also the chamber is recommended.
(Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate)
ASA is a thermoplastic proposed as an alternative to ABS. To the excellent mechanical and elastic properties, which have the two materials in common, ASA adds stability to atmospheric agents and UV rays. It is the ideal material to make components for outdoor use.
MK SOLUBILE PER PLA
MK SOLUBILE PLA applied to FDM technology is widely used thanks to its water solubility and therefore as an ideal support material for PLA.
Polycarbonate is a thermoplastic polymer obtained from carbonic acid. It is an extremely durable material with high impact resistance, good elasticity and temperature resistance. The PC is a filament that is printed with a translucent finish.
NYLON is a thermoplastic belonging to the polyamide family. It is widely used in industry for the production of industrial machinery, automotive components and sporting goods. Nylon offers the optimal combination of strength and robustness that allows you to create both prototypes and finished products.
CONDUCTIVE is a composite filament which, thanks to the high percentage of carbon nanotubes, allows electrical conduction. It is characterized by a resistance of 15 ohms/cm along the layers and 20 ohms/cm perpendicular to the layers. No less important, its processing is completely non-toxic and odorless up to high temperatures.
WOOD is a material loaded with wood fibers joined by a thermoplastic binder. This particular filament is used to create objects similar to wood both to the touch and to the smell, making it particularly suitable for design applications.
